JUST IN: JOEY RIOT AND MARC SMITH NAMED AS NEW BONKERS BEATS RESIDENTS

Since launching in early April on Scotland’s Beat 106, the all new Bonkers Beats has revolutionized the mundane format usually heard from a typical radio station on a Friday night. You will not hear repetitive house, hip hop, and cheesy pop music on this show. Instead, you can expect a furious assault of hardcore, freeform, gabba, classics, and more from some of the very best in the business.

Hosted by the original Bonkers elite, Hixxy and Sharkey, the broadcast features special guests every week alongside the amazing team of resident DJ’s.

As the buzz around this exciting new show continues to grow, so does its team. It was just announced earlier today via Beat 106 on Facebook that Scottish legends, Marc Smith, and Joey Riot, have been officially named as new residents, joining superstars, Scott Brown, and Dougal, on the show’s stacked roster!

This Friday also sees the return of Fracus & Darwin as special guests, playing alongside Marc Smith, for what looks set to be another two hours of furious hardcore madness.

You can tune in live through the station’s website every Friday from 11pm (UK), and as always, Beat 106 will replay the show on their ‘Second Chance Sunday’ broadcast.
